I am Rolando Cedric, 36 years old French CG Artist living in Tokyo for more than 6 years, currently with a spouse visa. I’m speaking English, French, and I have a intermediary Japanese level.

After working as a freelance CG artist for over 12 years, I have started to recognize the limitations of working independently. Since last year, I have been actively seeking a team and new creative challenges to expand my professional horizons.

I’m using Photoshop and Illustrator everyday, Procreate and Nomad Sculpt for my personal illustrations. Since the mid of 2022 AI art softwares are catalyzing my work. On my last working experience, we have integrated AI with Stable diffusion in our workflow in order to create virtual brands wich are echoes to real ones. On my personal artistic journey I have integrated AI in order add interesting variations to my artworks. This experience has been truly fulfilling, and AI is now a part of my everyday life workflow ( Stable diffusion web UI + ControlNet particularly, Adobe Firefly / Beta, Midjourney, Leonardo AI…)

With my freelance background, I have cultivated curiosity, the ability to readily adapt to diverse art directions and media formats. I am highly autonomous and used to work with different teams and departments. I have learned how to organize and share project assets and technical knowledge to the project members. I’m always thinking on how to effectively reach my goals, and improve my workflow. I’m a lifetime student, studying and deconstructing Tutorials as soon as I have free time. As you explore my portfolio selection, you will notice that my work is deeply influenced by video games, music videos, and Art. These sources of inspiration drive my creative vision and approach to projects.
